ID Essence is the young adults project of Imago Dei (ID). Below is a breakdown of the other projects of ID.

ID Prison Ministry works with chaplaincy departments in three women’s prisons in Greater London and the South East.

They have a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who deliver a ‘Free to Be’ suite of programmes on topics such as parenting, resilience & identity and forgiveness. They also provide faith support and pastoral care.

#SheMatters started as a campaign run by ID to raise awareness of some of the challenges women in prison face and the fact that they matter!

This campaign has grown and evolved and now ID run an annual #SheMatters Criminal Justice conference and has a charity shop in Tunbridge Wells, raising money for the charity and creating work experience opportunities for women leaving prison.

ID Grace House is currently in development in response to the need Imago Dei was seeing for their to be safe and supportive housing options for women after their release from prison.

Once ID Grace House is set up, it will provide accommodation, training and support for women leaving prison.

That’s us! We have been Imago Dei’s Young Adults team since March 2021.

This means that in addition to our usual services, we also work across the other aspects of Imago Dei to help engage and support any 18-25 year olds using Imago Dei’s services.
